KHARTOUM, Sudan — Thousands of Sudanese, many armed with clubs and knives, protested Friday outside the presidential palace in Khartoum, demanding the execution of a British teacher convicted of insulting Islam for allowing her students to name a teddy bear Muhammad.
The protesters streamed out of mosques after Friday sermons, as pick-up trucks with loudspeakers blared messages against Gillian Gibbons, the teacher who was sentenced Thursday to 15 days in prison and deportation.
They massed in central Martyrs Square, outside the palace, where hundreds of riot police were deployed, though they did not attempt to disrupt the rally. "Shame, shame on the U.K.," protesters chanted, and they called for Gibbons' execution, saying, "No tolerance: Execution," and "Kill her, kill her by firing squad."This is the woman the Sudanese want to kill.

This is a true and correct microcosm of Islam. They hate the West, they hate anything from a more enlightened country, they are intolerant, they are anything but peaceful. They maneuver what a non-Muslim does into an affront to Islam. There is no such thing as an "innocent mistake" if a non-Muslim makes one. This is the type people we are allowing to come into the USofA with total disregard of their core beliefs. The coalition is fighting in Iraq and Afghanistan for people just like the Sudanese against people just like the Sudanese. THIS is what occurs when Religion is not separated from the State. (Jefferson understood it, but the ACLU does not!) Muslims don't want democracy, they want death to non-Muslims! WHY has the National Organization for Women kept silent on this issue???
The USofA could have pulled out as soon as we collared Saddam, declared a victory, and had a ticker tape parade in NYC. That's my opinion and I'm sticking to it.
