Is a Negative Thought a Hate Crime?
This morning, my computer had an alert from the Liberty Counsel regarding an issue I cannot ignore. Speaker Pelosi, with the help of Liberals/Progressives in the House and Senate, is trying to rush through both Houses of Congress an innocuous bill entitled: Employment Non-Discrimination Act (ENDA). Sounds okay, right?
Well, no, it's not innocuous. The Liberty Counsel presented a paper to Congress entitled THE IMPACT OF HATE CRIMES LAWS UPON RELIGIOUS ORGANIZATIONS AND CLERGY written by two attorneys: Erik W. Stanley, Esq. and Mathew D. Staver, Esq.
“The religious organizations and clergy that would be impacted by this Bill are those who have a sincere belief that homosexuality, lesbianism, transgenderism and bisexuality violate their religious tenets.” This bill “puts Christians in the crosshairs and mandates that our society accept the very radical notion that one’s gender is not a matter of birth but of personal choice.” This bill is Speaker Pelosi's attempt to satisfy her homosexual supporters by ushering in radical homosexual rights which will lead to the criminalization of Christianity, as well as Islam, Baha’i, Buddhism, Scientology and Zoroastrianism.
What exactly IS a Hate Crime? “Hate Crimes” are too loosely defined and legislation cannot adequately address every “hate crime.” Is it not a “hate crime” for a school in Jena, LA, to have a “White Tree” where only white students are allowed to congregate? Is it not a “hate crime” for Muslims living in the USofA to reject the laws of the United States in favor of Sharia laws? Is it not a “hate crime” for Speaker Pelosi to favor homosexuals over Christians?
And the reason Speaker Pelosi wants the ENDA bill passed swiftly? She will be attending a gala dinner with homosexual activists in October.
And you thought that Christianity and Islam were totally opposed to each other? One thing agreed upon is that homosexuality is aberrant behavior.
So, my questions are:
1) How do you define "hate crime"?
2) What is the criteria which turns any crime into a "hate crime"?
3) Can a negative word or thought be considered a "hate crime"?
4) Should a person who speaks negatively be charged with a "hate crime" and be prosecuted?
4) Does the USofA need Federal Legislation to define every "hate crime"?

Islam Coexist? Muhammed said "Never!"
"We love death. The United States loves life. That is the big difference between us." – Osama bin Laden
"I have been made victorious through terror." Muhammad, founder of Muhammadism now called Islam (Submit or Die)
Barack Obama Says He Lacks Experience To Be U.S. President
And HERE he proves it.
Obama calls it "My Muslim Faith" and This Raises More Questions
George Stephanopoulos tries to correct Obama when he says "my Muslim faith" but it wasn't a gaffe and Obama corrects Stephanopoulos. The Question is: Why say "MY Muslim faith" first? He went back to correct Stephanopoulos, but again "MY Muslim faith" was used. WHY?

So you read this and then my "I'm LIVID" post and you think -- she's just committed a "hate crime" because she's against illegal aliens.
Did I? Does that mean that anyone who is PRO-rules, regulations and laws commits a "hate crime" when she reacts to people who break the rules, regulations and laws?
Sticky subject, isn't it?
