I'm one proud Nana!
I'm very blessed to be the mother of two children. These children have made me a Nana a few times.
This is about my son and his family. My son is a marvel. He got some good genes from his paternal side and is a "natural" when it comes to managing a store. I was at his store today and one of his employees told me how much they appreciate him as their manager. Of course, I'd like to take all the credit, but in reality, only his goodness and great personality come from my side of the family. I'm very proud of him and naturally so.
My son married a wonderful and talented girl. She can take some dried flowers and turn them into a beautiful flower arrangement that's prettier than any "store bought" arrangement or picture in any magazine. She just has the "eye" for it. She loves to cook, too. Not only can she fix a great meal, she can decorate the table, too.
My son and his wife produced three offspring. The oldest is "mature" he told me yesterday. Thirteen going on thirty. So mature that he knows how to set up a free webpage and has done so for a friend he met online. The friend lives in Wales. I'm awed. The boy plans to work for Nintendo after graduating from Auburn University. He has a few years of school left and if his interest still holds, I have no doubts he'll do just that.
My son's second child is a sweet young lady. She reminds me of me in some ways; she's helpful and pleasant. She's musically talented and has taught herself how to play the keyboard. She has a guitar signed by Jo Dee Messina. And she's got a lovely singing voice and has sung in her school chorus.
My son and his wife have a third child. She is their free spirited child. My granddaughter told me she wanted one of those "things on the computer" like I had. So, my first grade graduate granddaughter has her own blog. How many people do you know who can brag about that?
I am so blessed. And I'm well aware of it.

Obama calls it "My Muslim Faith" and This Raises More Questions
George Stephanopoulos tries to correct Obama when he says "my Muslim faith" but it wasn't a gaffe and Obama corrects Stephanopoulos. The Question is: Why say "MY Muslim faith" first? He went back to correct Stephanopoulos, but again "MY Muslim faith" was used. WHY?
