Friday's thoughts and ramblings
I'll probably add onto this or maybe just make another post later.
It's been a full week at work. Today I was at a meeting in a nearby County and had lunch as I had last month, with the administrator (although she doesn't see herself as that) of one of the agencies I met with. We got to catch up and commiserate and solve some of the world's problems. It's good to have friends you can talk with and who can share with you. It's good to have friends who see God at work in what you're telling them.
Did I mention the dream I had? If I did, I'll retell it here. In the dream, it was in the "end times" and Christians were being killed by the army of the anti-Christ. Those who expected a "rapture of the church" were the first to be knocked off because they were running around looking for the 'rapture' which didn't occur. So here's a clue, folks: there is no rapture of the church. It was just someone's 'good idea' as a way to promote their denomination. I was with a teen friend of mine and we were looking for this Christian tatoo artist. We were going to get tatoos of a cross on our backs. The armies of the anti-Christ were stripping the shirts of men to show their bare chest and then shooting them. They were taking the women to the guillotine, pulling their blouses back to expose their necks and then chopping off the Christian women's heads. So we decided to get a small cross tatooed on our necks at the nape of the neck. The idea was that when our blouses were pulled back to expose our necks, the Cross of Christ would be staring right back at our executioners.
I'm going to get a cross tatoo placed on the nape of my neck after I thru hike the Appalachian Trail the second time.
Didn't I mention that in 2009 I plan to hike from Earth Day to Birth Day? Sure I did somewhere. Or I meant to.
So what do you think? Rapture or no rapture? Tatoo or no tatoo. (Mom and Dad, you don't have a vote in the tatoo decision.)

Islam Coexist? Muhammed said "Never!"
"We love death. The United States loves life. That is the big difference between us." – Osama bin Laden
"I have been made victorious through terror." Muhammad, founder of Muhammadism now called Islam (Submit or Die)
Barack Obama Says He Lacks Experience To Be U.S. President
And HERE he proves it.
Obama calls it "My Muslim Faith" and This Raises More Questions
George Stephanopoulos tries to correct Obama when he says "my Muslim faith" but it wasn't a gaffe and Obama corrects Stephanopoulos. The Question is: Why say "MY Muslim faith" first? He went back to correct Stephanopoulos, but again "MY Muslim faith" was used. WHY?
