NEW PREAMBLE TO THE CONSTITUTION


'We the sensible people of the United States, in an attempt to help everyone get along, restore some semblance of justice, avoid more riots, keep our nation safe, promote positive behavior, and secure the blessings of debt-free liberty to ourselves and our great-great-great-grandchildren, hereby try one more time to ordain and establish some common sense guidelines for the terminally whiny, guilt ridden, delusional, and other liberal bed-wetters We hold these truths to be self evident: that a whole lot of people are confused by the Bill of Rights and are so dim they require a Bill of NON-Rights.'

• ARTICLE I:
  You do not have the right to a new car, big screen TV, or any other form of wealth. More power to you if you can legally acquire them, but no one is guaranteeing anything.
  
  
  
• ARTICLE II:
  You do not have the right to never be offended. This country is based
  on freedom, and that means freedom for everyone -- not just you! You
  may leave the room, turn the channel, express a different opinion,
  etc.; but the world is full of idiots, and probably always will be.
  
  
  
• ARTICLE III:
  You do not have the right to be free from harm. If you stick a screwdriver in your eye, learn to be more careful; do not expect the tool manufacturer to make you and all your relatives independently wealthy.
  
  
  
• ARTICLE IV:
  You do not have the right to free food and housing. Americans are the most charitable people to be found, and will gladly help anyone in need, but we are quickly growing weary of subsidizing generation after generation of professional couch potatoes who achieve nothing more than the creation of another generation of professional couch potatoes.
  
  
  
• ARTICLE V:
  You do not have the right to free health care. That would be nice, but from the looks of public housing, we're just not interested in public health care.
  
  
  
• ARTICLE VI:
  You do not have the right to physically harm other people. If you kidnap, rape, intentionally maim, or kill someone, don't be surprised if the rest of us want to see you fry in the electric chair.
  
  
  
• ARTICLE VII:
  You do not have the right to the possessions of others. If you rob, cheat, or coerce away the goods or services of other citizens, don't be surprised if the rest of us get together and lock you away in a place where you still won't have the right to a big screen color TV or a life of leisure.
  
  
  
• ARTICLE VIII:
  You do not have the right to a job. All of us sure want you to have a job, and will gladly help you along in hard times, but we expect you to take advantage of the opportunities of education and vocational training laid before you to make yourself useful.
  
  
  
• ARTICLE IX:
  You do not have the right to happiness. Being an American means that you have the right to PURSUE happiness, which by the way, is a lot easier if you are unencumbered by an over abundance of idiotic laws created by those of you who were confused by the Bill of Rights.

  This is an English speaking country. We don't care where you are from,
  English is our language. Learn it or go back to wherever you came from!

He has a seat on his campaign aircraft marked "president". He has taken a shot at creating his own presidential seal, complete with Latin motto. He has laid claim to personal control over the world's oceans and seas. He has repeatedly attempted to dictate how and on what level he, his ideas, and his activities may be discussed. He has encouraged a portrayal of himself as a messianic figure, including a portrait of himself as Christ, complete with halo. He is even now completing a triumphant grand tour of the old world, during which he attempted to shanghai an ancient monument for personal use without consulting the host government.

Barack Obama embodies hubris in chemically pure form.

Obama does share one quality with the heroes of the ancient world: an absolute conviction that he is superior to the ordinary run of humanity. Like them, Obama believes himself a man of destiny, and like them, Obama will go over the edge.

The only question is whether he gets to take the country with him.

The Liar Among Us Who Would Be POTUS

It's all slowly unraveling, the tales he told about himself, written by himself, to conjure up an image of a solid personality with positive character traits. But he lied. He lied about a lot of things. And some things he lied about, he didn't need to lie about. So why lie about them in the first place?

The Psychological Profile of Barry Dunham Soetoro Obama explains a lot. But there are still so many questions about his character and personality that have not been addressed.

Why would a man lie about insignificant things? One small lie leads to many big lies. And in the case of Barry Dunham Soetoro Obama, all the lies in his books and life may well dash his dreams of being the Democrat Nominee for POTUS.

Our God is a jealous God because He wants us to love only Him!

Monotheism (from the Greek monos "only", and theos "god") is a word coined in comparatively modern times to designate belief in the one supreme God, the Creator and Lord of the world, the eternal Spirit, All-powerful, All-wise, and All-good, the Rewarder of good and the Punisher of evil, the Source of our happiness and perfection.

The ancient Hebrew religion, promulgated by Moses in the name of Jehovah (Jahweh), was an impressive form of Monotheism. That it was Divinely revealed is the unmistakable teaching of Holy Scripture, particularly of Exodus and the following books which treat explicitly of Mosaic legislation. Even non-Catholic Scriptural scholars, who no longer accept the Pentateuch, as it stands, as the literary production of Moses, recognize, in great part, that, in the older sources which, according to them, go to make up the Pentateuch, there are portions that reach back to the time of Moses, showing the existence of Hebrew monotheistic worship in his day. Now, the transcendent superiority of this Monotheism taught by Moses offers a strong proof of its Divine origin. At a time when the neighbouring nations representing the highest civilization of that time -- Egypt, Babylonia, Greece -- were giving an impure and idolatrous worship to many deities, we find the insignificant Hebrew people professing a religion in which idolatry, impure rites, and a degrading mythology had no legitimate place, but where, instead, belief in the one true God was associated with a dignified worship and a lofty moral code. Those who reject the claim of Mosaic Monotheism to have been revealed have never yet succeeded in giving a satisfactory explanation of this extraordinary phenomenon. It was, however, pre-eminently the religion of the Hebrew people, destined in the fullness of time to give place to the higher monotheistic religion revealed by Christ, in which all the nations of the earth should find peace and salvation. The Jewish people was thus God's chosen people, not so much by reason of their own merit, as because they were destined to prepare the way for the absolute and universal religion, Christianity. The God of Moses is no mere tribal deity. He is the Creator and Lord of the world. He gives over to His chosen people the land of the Chanaanites. He is a jealous God, forbidding not only worship of strange gods, but the use of images, which might lead to abuses in that age of almost universal idolatry. Love of God is made a duty, but reverential fear is the predominant emotion. The religious sanction of the law is centred chiefly in temporal rewards and punishments. Laws of conduct, though determined by justice rather than by charity and mercy, are still eminently humane.

This guy wants to be our President and control our government. He also talks about unifying everyone. Does this sound like one who really wants to unify?

Pay close attention to his last comment.

From Dreams of My Father: 'I ceased to advertise my mother's race at the age of 12 or 13, when I began to suspect that by doing so I was ingratiating myself to whites.' Barack Hussein Obama got tired of explaining his multi-racial (or bi-racial) background and since he "looked" black, it was easier to just say so or to infer so and not admit to the truth. What is essentially misleading is that he's entitled the book "Dreams of my Father" and yet he glosses over the verifiable fact that his father is an Arab-African from Kenya. In the book, he claims he does not identify with the "Arab-ness" of his father, and he hides behind the "blackness" and "African-ness" and assumed (by others) "Negro-ness" of his skin color. Wonder why?

'There was something about him that made me wary, a little too sure of himself, maybe. And white.' This is taken out of a few paragraphs about his first job and the man who hired him, but the tone of the words conveys the message whether you read it in context or out.

'It remained necessary to prove which side you were on, to show your loyalty to the black masses, to strike out and name names.' In context, Barack Hussein Obama is trying to distance himself from those who classed themselves as "multi-racial" and wanted to know about all of their heritage rather than to chose just one aspect (or the higher percentage "race" or "culture" or "ethnicity") and who felt that it was the black community who refused to allow them to be "multi-racial" by forcing them to choose one aspect of their ethnic background and stick to it. So, he chooses, "black" as in "Negro-African" when he has 1/16 of this ethnicity and 7/16 of "Arab-African" ethnicity. Barack Hussein Obama is 1/2 Caucasian and had he wished to do so, he could have stated he was "white" whether his skin color indicated so or not. So, he is confused about his multi-racial background and tries to hide his "Arab-ness" by being "black" and by inference "Negro-African."

'I never emulate white men and brown men whose fates didn't speak to my own. It was into my father's image, the black man, son of Africa , that I'd packed all the attributes I sought in myself, the attributes of Martin and Malcolm, DuBois and Mandela.' Rewording of two separate statements. But the truth is there, however obscure in the misquote above, that Barack Hussein Obama measures himself by his Arab Kenyan father and not by his Caucasian mother and grandparents whom he knew well and who nurtured him with total disregard of his skin color or his perceived 'difference.' I liken it to someone who has a Native American in their genealogy and who studies his Native American heritage and then attempts to emulate by words, deeds, and thoughts, his Native American-ness.

All my life, I had carried a single image of my father, one that I had sometimes rebelled against but had never questioned, one that I had later tried to take as my own. The brilliant scholar, the generous friend, the upstanding leader — my father had been all those things. All those things and more, because except for that one brief visit in Hawaii, he had never been present to foil the image, because I hadn't see what perhaps most men see at some point in their lives: their father's body shrinking, their father's best hopes dashed, their father's face lined with grief and regret.

Yes, I'd seen weakness in other men — Gramps and his disappointments, Lolo [my adoptive father] and his compromise. But these men had become object lessons for me, men I might love but never emulate, white men and brown men whose fates didn't speak to my own. It was into my father's image, the black man, son of Africa, that I'd packed all the attributes I sought in myself, the attributes of Martin and Malcolm, DuBois and Mandela. And if later I saw that the black men I knew fell short of such lofty standards; if I had learned to respect these men for the struggles they went through, recognizing them as my own — my father's voice had nevertheless remained untainted, inspiring, rebuking, granting or withholding approval. You do not work hard enough, Barry. You must help in your people's struggle. Wake up, black man!

Now, as I sat in the glow of a single light bulb, rocking slightly on a hard-backed chair, that image had suddenly vanished. Replaced by ... what? A bitter drunk? An abusive husband? A defeated, lonely bureaucrat? To think that all my life I had been wrestling with nothing more than a ghost!

We know what Barack Hussein Obama writes, but we do not know what he thinks, what's in his heart. He writes for his audience and he glosses over what he doesn't wish his audience to know about himself. He's hidden his grandmother away and refuses to bring her forward for interviews. Why? What's he afraid of? The truth? Written as he's describing his 1992 wedding:
"The person who made me proudest of all," Obama wrote, "was Roy. Actually, now we call him Abongo, his Luo name, for two years ago he decided to reassert his African heritage. He converted to Islam, and has sworn off pork and tobacco and alcohol."

There is a photo on the campaign trail of Senator Barack Hussein Obama with a glass of beer in his hand "sipping" the beer. I have no documentation that he actually did more than touch his lips to the rim of the glass, trying to look "blue collar" or something ingratiating to Pennsylvania voters. If you have more information, please pass it along to me.

So what is he really implying? That he will support the Constitution of the United States from enemies foreign and domestic? Or not? Is this why he refuses to revere the National Anthem and the Flag of the United States of America? Is he secretly harboring animosity (as his wife has inferred in her words and actions) toward the USofA? Or just Republicans and "whites" and Conservatives and me?

to stand on the fence on this one, afraid to verify some easily verifiable information which Barack Hussein Obama has left out of his books for themselves, which leads me to think they're not centrist, but leaning quite noticeably to the left.


But you can be your own judge of his moral character, integrity, honesty, leadership, and experience. I've already made up my mind that the only thing Barack Hussein Obama is experienced in is hiding the truth about himself from the Voters.

Stanley Ann Dunham Obam a Soetoro (November 29, 1942 - November 7, 1995), known as Ann Dunham and Stanley Ann Dunham, was an American anthropologist, left-wing social activist, and the mother of Senator Barack Obama. She was born in Fort Leavenworth, Kansas, to Stanley and Madelyn Dunham. Her father was a furniture salesman in downtown Seattle, Washington, and her mother worked for a bank. After a year living in Seattle, her family moved to Mercer Island, Washington, in 1956, so that 13-year-old Ann could attend the Mercer Island High School that had just opened. At the school she was on the debate team and graduated in 1960.

Her family moved to Hawaii and Ann attended the University of Hawaii at Manoa, where she studied anthropology.
When Ann Dunham arrived in Hawaii, she was a full-fledged radical leftist and practitioner of critical theory. She also began to engage in miscegenation (inter-racial relationships) as part of her attack on society.
Susan Blake, one of her friends, has stated she never dated "the crew-cut white boys," She had a world view, even as a young girl. It was embracing the different, rather than that ethnocentric thing of shunning the different. That was where her mind took her.
In Hawaii she met Barack Obama, Sr. from Kenya in her Russian language class.
Barack Obama, Jr. was born August 4, 1961.

Barack Obama, Sr. left Ann and their son in 1963 to attend Harvard in Boston Press reports claim Ann Dunham and Barack Obama Sr. were divorced around this time; however, no evidence has yet been presented to show they were ever married. The senior Obama obtained a masters degree in economics at Harvard and returned to Kenya in 1965 where he obtained a position in the Kenyan government. He was killed in an automobile accident in 1982.

Two years later, when her son was five, Dunham married Lolo Soetoro, an Indonesian oil manager and practicing Muslim whom she meet at the university. In 1967 they moved to Jakarta , Indonesia . While in Indonesia Ann got a job at the American embassy teaching English.

Barack's half-sister, Maya Soetoro was born in Indonesia . Ann, Obama and his sister, Maya, moved back to Hawaii. Ann Dunham soon returned to Indonesia with Maya but divorced Soetoro in the late 1970s.

Dunham traveled around the world, pursuing a career in rural development that took her to Ghana, India, Thailand, Indonesia, Nepal and Bangladesh. In 1986, Ann Dunham worked on a developmental project in Pakistan . Later that year, Ann and her daughter traveled the Silk Road in China.
In 1992 she earned a Ph.D. in anthropology from the University of Hawaii Her dissertation, "Peasant blacksmithing in Indonesia : Surviving and Thriving Against All Odds," was 1067 pages long. She worked for the Ford Foundation and promoted Microlending.

During Obama's campaign for the 2008 presidential election he portrayed his mother as a conservative girl from Kansas; however in reality she was a radical leftist and cultural Marxist. She lived in the Seattle area; spending her teenage years in Seattle coffee shops with other young radical leftist.

Obama claims his mother's family were conservative Methodists or Baptists from Kansas. However, his mother's parents were members of a left-wing Unitarian church near Seattle. The church located in Bellevue, Washington was nicknamed "the little red church," because of its communist leanings.

The school Ann attended, Mercer Island High School, was a hotbed of pro-Marxist radical teachers. John Stenhouse, board member, told the House Un-American Activities Subcommittee that he had been a member of the Communist Party USA and this school has a number of Marxists on its staff. Two teachers at this school, Val Foubert and Jim Wichterman, both Frankfurt School style Marxists, taught a critical theory curriculum to students which included; rejection of societal norms, attacks on Christianity, the traditional family, and assigned readings by Karl Marx. The hallway between Foubert's and Wichterman classrooms was some times called "anarchy ally."

Dunham has been described by her friends as "a fellow traveler..." meaning a communist sympathizer.

In an interview, Barack Obama referred to his mother as "the dominant figure in my formative years... The values she taught me continue to be my touchstone when it comes to how I go about the world of politics."

Before she died Ann Dunham wanted to adopt a mixed-race Korean baby fathered by a Black American stationed in South Korea. Ann Dunham died in Hawaii in 1995 of ovarian cancer and uterine cancer.

Comment:
She appears to have been well educated and traveled. However, her upbringing and pre-collegiate education during her formative years, known Marxist politics and activities, make it really difficult to identify her as a conservative; and if she really was "the dominant figure in my formative years... The values she taught me continue to be my touchstone when it comes to how I go about the world of politics," then we are in a world of hurt if this individual is elected to the highest office in the land.

William Addams Reitwiesner (google) forgets to include (as he lists BHObama as 50% Luo) and I did correct above is that the Luo Tribe in Kenya is and has been ARAB Muslims and not considered or classed as Africans by Kenya or any other Nation in Africa. There are other Nations and Tribes also delineated as Arab and not African-Negro on the continent of Africa. He also neglects to mention that one great great great grandparent was of African-Negro descent which is why Barack Hussein Obama is 1/16 of that initial 50% African-Negro. He does not have enough African-Negro blood to be considered an "African-American" (he must be 1/8 to do so legally in the USofA). Barack Hussein Obama is only 1/16 African-Negro.


Barack Hussein Obama's TRUE lineage is Arab-English if you go by percentages.


If you group the Caucasian and Kenyan, he becomes a Caucasian-Arab or an Arab-American.


ARAB is not a skin color. There are Arabs who are black, brown, dark tan, light tan, red and yellow, and "white." Although not all Arabs are Muslims, in BHObama's family in Kenya, all are Arab Muslims. And BHObama has written that "the proudest day of my life was when Roy reverted to Islam" or something similar. . . the "proudest day in my life" part is accurate and Roy's reversion (not revulsion) to Islam is documented.


I think there's an old saying . . . "You can't tell an Arab by his color." (Or is that "book by its cover?") It applies here.

Personally, I believe that Barack's defining moment came as a teenager when he decided to try to find his "African" roots and quickly learned they were ARAB roots. Rather than define himself "White Folk" (which he could as he is 50% Caucasian), he opted to try to find his own 'blackness' based on his own skin color and not on his lineage. He still carries that deep animosity with him and it "colors" everything he does and says. He's till trying to prove that he is a "black" without acknowledging that he is not "black enough" because he is ARAB who just happens to have dark skin. I think that's also why he said he tried drugs -- it's a "black thing" in his mind. He married an angry at her "race" black woman and attended an "angry at white (folk)" church so that he doesn't have to face his own lack of blackness and enormity of ARABness.


My unasked for opinion is that Barack Hussein Obama is headed for a monumental nervous breakdown due to all the baggage and lies he has had to attempt to believe in order to make himself "black" knowing in his heart that he will never be "black enough" because he is not "black." He rarely states that he is African-American any longer, but he does say he's a "black man." Each time he says this he knows it perpetuates the lie that he is "African" and the weight of that lie comes crushing in on his soul. He allows others to make the connection (black skin = African) without being honest to himself or others. His family in Kenya has even stated publicly that they wonder when Barack will come out of the closet and identify with them as an Arab Muslim.


All that glitters is not gold. All that is black is not African. Anger will eventually eat a person up and Barack Hussen Obama is so full of the bile of anger that he is a walking mental breakdown bomb.

Looming Scandal Will “Toricelli” Barack Obama After Democratic National Convention

The Democratic Party’s superdelegates, even those who have endorsed Barack Obama, need to do some serious reconsideration between now and the convention. Should Obama become the nominee, the Democrats are likely to find themselves in the same situation as they did with Robert Toricelli (D-NJ) in 2002. As described by Wikipedia (more information at the Washington Post),

In the middle of an increasingly competitive race against Republican Doug Forrester, Torricelli decided not to run for reelection after disclosure of illegal contributions to his campaign by David Chang, a businessman connected to North Korea. In a speech, Torricelli stated that despite his leaving public office in a different way than he planned, he was proud of his service.

The Democratic Party then had to persuade the New Jersey Supreme Court to bypass the deadline for ballot changes to replace Toricelli with Frank Lautenberg. It is more than likely that the Democrats will find themselves in the same situation this year if Obama becomes the nominee, because of Obama’s questionable use of the United Church of Christ’s tax exempt resources to support his campaign. The Internal Revenue Service is currently investigating Obama’s church and, depending on when it announces its findings, it will render Obama unelectable or (should be be elected before the IRS announces its findings), leave him with a crippled and scandal-ridden Presidency.

It is already a matter of record that a scandal involving misuse of tax-exempt resources to support a political campaign can destroy an entire organization and even a Presidential campaign. In 2000, the 501(c)(3) tax exempt Million Mom March promoted House candidates on its “Apple Pie Award” Web page while relegating pro-Second Amendment legislators to the “Time Out Chair.” This was brought to the attention of a pro-Second Amendment columnist who published the following column:

But while the dot-com demonstrators attempt to convince lawmakers (who won’t be anywhere near Capitol Hill on a weekend) that they echo the majority voice of American motherhood, keep this in mind:

The Million Mom March is violating federal law.

At least that’s the view from here. Hardly a soul can question the organization’s political nature. Just check out its Web site, with the “Time Out Chair,” which threatens to unseat politicians who don’t vote the way MMM wants.

“Come Mothers’ Day, we mothers will stand together on the mall of Capitol Hill to remind your PRO-GUN House that on Election Day, the voters will stand by our children,” writes Rene King of Kentucky, in a letter posted by MMM castigating House Majority Whip Tom DeLay.

Or how about the Mom’s Apple Pie Awards, serving up sugary kisses to “Rep. Joe Hoeffel, D-Pa., who plans to co-sponsor a bill next year, along with Rep. Carolyn McCarthy, D-N.Y., that would require the licensing of handgun owners and the registration of handguns. It would also require gun purchasers to undergo background checks, take a gun safety course, and wait three days before acquiring a gun. … It will be up to us to convince Congress to pass it.”

….MMM has every right to champion politicians who support its cause and torment those who don’t. It can even lobby Congress for more gun control. But not as a nonprofit organization that receives preferential tax-exempt status.

Again, MMM’s Web site: “We have 501-c(3) status as a nonprofit tax entity …. Contributions are tax deductible.”

How can this be, you ask, when federal tax law expressly prohibits 501(c)(3) nonprofits from engaging in political activity?

According to the Internal Revenue Service’s frequently asked-questions list: “501(c)(3) organizations may not engage in political activity, including endorsing candidates, but other organizations, such as 501(c)(4) organizations, may engage in political activity so long as that is not their primary activity.”

Had the National Rifle Association used its immense resources to follow up on this instead of preaching to the choir about how the MMM’s Mother’s Day rally was a “thinly disguised campaign for Al Gore,” the gun control movement would probably have been wiped off the face of the earth in 2000 along with many of the legislators who attached their names to it. As it was, the Million Mom March reacted visibly to Labbe’s piece with obviously desperate efforts at damage control. The damage control didn’t work. Other tax exempt entities, such as the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America, distanced themselves from the Million Mom March while outraged donors, who were not told the real use to which their money was being put, cut off funding. The result was that the Million Mom March was so badly crippled that it could not help Al Gore get those few hundred votes he needed in Florida, so this scandal might arguably have decided the 2000 election (in combination with Gore blowing Tennessee, West Virginia, and Arkansas all on his own). The Million Mom March liquidated the next year, possibly to avoid the scandal of a formal IRS revocation of its 501(c)(3) status.

Like the Million Mom March, the United Church of Christ is a tax-exempt entity that is explicitly not permitted to use its resources, or allow their use, on behalf of any candidate for public office, and the IRS is investigating it for exactly the same reason–with Barack Obama bearing the primary responsibility.

Obama’s General Synod speech prompts IRS to investigate UCC’s tax-exempt status

The Internal Revenue Service has notified the United Church of Christ’s national offices in Cleveland, Ohio, that the IRS has opened an investigation into U.S. Sen. Barack Obama’s address at the UCC’s 2007 General Synod as the church engaging in “political activities.”

In the IRS letter dated Feb. 20, the IRS said it was initiating a church tax inquiry “because reasonable belief exists that the United Church of Christ has engaged in political activities that could jeopardize its tax-exempt status.“

The “political activities” in question involve Barack Obama’s “A Politics of Conscience,” which he delivered at the UCC’s 50th anniversary General Synod in Hartford, Conn., on June 23, 2007. The UCC says that Obama agreed beforehand that his speech would contain no campaign-related content, but a transcript of “A Politics of Conscience” shows extensive campaign-related content. Furthermore, the speech was apparently pre-written; in other words, Obama did not get carried away in the heat of the moment, forget himself, and talk about his Presidential ambitions. If the UCC’s statements are accurate, Obama chose in advance to break his word to his own church, violate its trust, and get it into trouble with the IRS. If the IRS releases its findings before November, it is the end of Obama’s candidacy. If it releases them afterward (assuming that Obama wins the election), his Presidency will be a sick practical joke on the American people.

The UCC posting says,

“The United Church of Christ took great care to ensure that Senator Obama’s appearance before the 50th anniversary General Synod met appropriate legal and moral standards,” Thomas told United Church News. “We are confident that the IRS investigation will confirm that no laws were violated.”

Before Obama spoke to the national gathering of 10,000 UCC members, Associate General Minister Edith A. Guffey, who serves as administrator of the biennial General Synod, admonished the crowd that Obama’s appearance was not to be a campaign-related event and that electioneering would not be tolerated. No political leaflets, signs or placards were allowed, and activity by the Obama campaign was barred from inside the Hartford Civic Center venue.

We assume that Obama heard this as well, but he chose to go ahead and electioneer anyway. Furthermore, ”IRS Investigation: A Test Of Church’s Faith?” by UCC minister Davida Foy Crabtree in the Hartford Courant asserts

Our purpose in inviting Sen. Obama in the spring of 2006 — long before he was a candidate for the presidency — was to ask him to address the connection between his Christian faith and his public service, to speak to us of the challenges for people of faith in the public square today. And he did so with eloquence. As a prominent member of our church, his was a natural invitation, just as the others were. To avoid any hint of endorsement or promotion, our national officers and our denominational attorney established clear understandings with Sen. Obama’s office in Washington. He readily agreed to all of them. We made it clear not only to his campaign staff but also to our own synod delegates and visitors that no advocacy or promotion of his candidacy would be permitted.

In summary,

(1) Barack Obama and his campaign staff were told of the rules ahead of time.
(2) Barack Obama understood and agreed to these rules.
(3) As shown by “A Politics of Conscience,” he chose to violate these rules after indicating his understanding and agreement, thus getting the UCC into trouble with the IRS.

In other words, he wrote it ahead of time, with the full knowledge that electioneering on tax exempt church resources was forbidden, as opposed to forgetting himself in the heat of the moment.

…It’s been several months now since I announced I was running for president. In that time, I’ve had the chance to talk with Americans all across this country. And I’ve found that no matter where I am, or who I’m talking to, there’s a common theme that emerges. It’s that folks are hungry for change – they’re hungry for something new. They’re ready to turn the page on the old politics and the old policies – whether it’s the war in Iraq or the health care crisis we’re in, or a school system that’s leaving too many kids behind despite the slogans.

…Our conscience can’t rest so long as 37 million Americans are poor and forgotten by their leaders in Washington and by the media elites. We need to heed the biblical call to care for “the least of these” and lift the poor out of despair. That’s why I’ve been fighting to expand the Earned Income Tax Credit and the minimum wage. If you’re working forty hours a week, you shouldn’t be living in poverty. But we also know that government initiatives are not enough. Each of us in our own lives needs to do what we can to help the poor. And until we do, our conscience cannot rest.

Our conscience cannot rest so long as nearly 45 million Americans don’t have health insurance and the millions more who do are going bankrupt trying to pay for it. I have made a solemn pledge that I will sign a universal health care bill into law by the end of my first term as president that will cover every American and cut the cost of a typical family’s premiums by up to $2500 a year. That’s not simply a matter of policy or ideology – it’s a moral commitment.

Compare this to Dr. Crabtree’s statement, “To avoid any hint of endorsement or promotion, our national officers and our denominational attorney established clear understandings with Sen. Obama’s office in Washington. He readily agreed to all of them. We made it clear not only to his campaign staff but also to our own synod delegates and visitors that no advocacy or promotion of his candidacy would be permitted.”

The Internal Revenue Service’s letter to the UCC alleges not only that Barack Obama delivered a speech with campaign-related content as described above, but also that his supporters–again contrary to the rules to which he and his campaign agreed–staffed campaign tables outside the event. The IRS writes, “In addition, 40 Obama volunteers staffed campaign tables outside the center to promote his campaign.”

We can reach only one conclusion, we think the public will agree with us, and we think this scandal is enough by itself to end Barack Obama’s campaign.

(1) The United Church of Christ invited Barack Obama, as a prominent public figure, “to reflect on the intersection of [his] faith and …respective vocations or fields of expertise.”
(2) In doing so, the UCC reminded Obama and his staff that, as a tax-exempt religious institution, it could not allow any election-related activity.
(3) Obama and his staff said they understood this condition and promised to observe it.
(4) Obama then wrote a speech that he knew violated the condition to which he had agreed, while his campaign allegedly staffed campaign tables around the church meeting, again in violation of the rules to which the Obama campaign had agreed.

Note that all of the above information consists of objective evidence, such as the IRS’s letter and material directly from the United Church of Christ itself. It did not come from the Clinton or McCain camp, and therefore cannot possibly be construed as a “smear” of Barack Obama–even though his backers like Jeremiah “God Damn America” Wright construe any criticism of their behavior as a smear, racism, or both.

When is a "ceasefire" not a cease-fire? When it's a "tahadiya" -- read and learn

In Ceasefires in Islam: Not Always What They Seem to Be by Frank Salvato he writes in part:

To say that we in the West are engaged in a clash of civilizations with the fundamentalist Islamic culture would be a fair statement. Hundreds if not thousands of radical jihadist groups are mounting a violent global offensive against Western Civilization in a third attempt at establishing a global Caliphate. This contention is validated by history and we need only be good students of events passed to understand it.

While many hold the common misconception that the conflict with radical Islam started with the attacks of September 11, 2001, the reality is that radical Islam’s current confrontation with the West started in 1983 with Hezbollah’s bombing of the Marine barracks in Lebanon. Lesser understood is that this conflict is but the third bloody expedition in the quest for a global Caliphate; the first coming in the aftermath of Muhammad’s death in the 7th Century and the second occurring in the 11th Century, spanning the years 1071 to 1683 AD – an aggression that lasted 612 years, almost three times as long as the United States has been a country.

Three aspects of this conflict which we in the West are delinquent in understanding – and there are many others – are in defining the enemy, understanding the culture in which they are generated and familiarizing ourselves with their tools and tactics.

America’s War on Words, Mark Silverberg, Featured Writer states:

The Bush administration has launched a new “outreach” policy reflecting it’s reluctance to discuss jihadism in public. This time, it has targeted language. We are no longer at war with “jihadism”. Rather, we are engaged in a war against “extremism”.

In a document titled: "Words that Work and Words that Don't: A Guide for Counterterrorism Communication” released in March 2008, Federal agencies including the State Department, the Department of Homeland Security and the National Counter Terrorism Center will now be issued instructions on how not to describe "jihadists”, or the "mujahedeen", or to use any references relating to Islam, Islamic theology or Muslims in the context of our current war. Nor are these the only words to be struck from the government’s political lexicon. Words and phrases like “al Qaeda movement”, “Salafi”, “Wahhabist”, “Sufi”, “ummah” (the Muslim world), “Islamic terrorist”, “Islamist”, “holy warrior” and even “caliphate” are also to be removed from diplomatic discourse.

And ends by stating this fact:

An Administration that continues to transfer hundreds of millions of dollars to the Palestinian Authority and billions of petro-dollars to our enemies should be more concerned with legitimizing jihadists by funding them than they are about nomenclature.

In an article on Terrorism, Basic Projects writes:

Many counterterrorism experts, including former CIA Director James Woolsey and founding member of the CIA’s Counterterrorism Center, Dr. Bruce Tefft, agree, it is not a question of “if” there will be another attack on American soil, it is a question of “when.” The only questions left unanswered about this future attack are how lethal it will be, where it will take place and whether we will have had enough foresight to have acquired the information needed to literally help save our own lives.

The issue of terrorism is a deadly serious one. It directly affects every American – as well as every freedom loving citizen of the world, yet accurate, fact-based, first-source information on the threat of terrorism is not readily accessible. Adequate information about the threat we face is not forthcoming from our government nor are we served by an agenda-driven media. Websites that offer accurate information on the threat of terrorism are routinely removed from private sector Internet search engine indexes for mentioning radical Islam’s use of terrorism in jihad, while those who do attempt to educate the public on the origins and activities of terror groups in the United States are either ignored by the mainstream media or smeared by biased special interest groups.

Contact your Congressional Representatives in the Senate and the House. Contact Senator John Sydney McCain, Senator Ronald Ernest Paul, Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton, and Senator Barack Hussein Obama. Do not allow Islam in any of its faces to create its Twelfth Caliphate in the USofA. This is no joke and it's not funny. The borders must be closed to unlawful entry by anyone from any nation. Immigrants must undergo a physical and a background check. Remember what occurred on 09/11/01. It would not have happened if we still used Ellis Island for all immigrant entry into the USofA.

Barack Hussein Obama's "Experience" equals 143 Senate days

From the time Barack Obama was sworn in as a United State Senator, to the time he announced he was forming a Presidential exploratory committee, he logged 143 days of experience in the Senate. That's how many days the Senate was actually in session and working.

After 143 days of work experience, Obama believed he was ready to be Commander In Chief, Leader of the Free World, and fill the shoes of Abraham Lincoln, FDR, JFK and Ronald Reagan.

The Junior Senator from Illinois, who has voted "present" over 100 times during Senate business rather than vote "yea" or "nay" thinks he has the experience to lead this nation? He can't even make up his mind which way to vote on issues and he thinks he's qualified to lead the USofA? Are voters blindly voting for him because of his rhetoric, because of his "smooth speech?"

Is Barack Hussein Obama, Junior, through his father, a member of the tribe of Quraysh? Genealogy for the Obama side of his family doesn't go back beyond his great-grandparents. I wonder what would turn up if it did. I contend that it would turn up a member of the Qurayah (Quresh", "Quraysh", "Koreish" and "Coreish") tribe and that Barack Hussein Obama, Junior knows this and is planning to use this information to establish a caliphate in the latter years of a US Presidency. If you support BHObama, prove me wrong (and not with Snopes, but with documented genealogy). Thank you.

But what he forgets to include is that the Luo Tribe in Kenya is and has been ARAB Muslims and not considered or classed as Africans by Kenya or any other Nation in Africa. There are other Nations and Tribes also delineated as Arab and not African-Negro on the continent of Africa. He also neglects to mention that one great great grandparent was of African-Negro descent which is why he is 1/16 of that initial 50% African-Negro. He does not have enough African-Negro blood to be considered an "African-American" (he must be 1/8 to do so legally in the USofA). Barack Hussein Obama is only 1/16 African-Negro.

Are you ready for hope and change? Barack Obama better hope his bitter half has a change of attitude if she expects to assume the title of first lady in November. She's been likened to John F. Kennedy's wife, what with her chic suits and pearls and perfectly coiffed helmet hair. But when she opens her mouth, Michelle O is less Jackie O and more Wendy W -- as in Wendy Whiner, the constantly kvetching "Saturday Night Live" character from the early 1980s.

When Citizens get the short shrift and illegal aliens are given rights they are not entitled to, it's time to find someone to run for President who will BUILD THE FENCE and deport illegal aliens.

End of Life Issues . . . where people are tempted to play God.

The International Herald Tribune has an article on end of life which gives the elderly another option to aggressive treatment which they themselves can decide based on all salient medical facts. They are calling it "slow medicine" and if you followed the demise of Pope John Paul the Great, I believe this is the type of elder-care he opted for, although it did not have a name at that time.

CNN Health has an article which originated in Chicago, IL, from meetings of "a task force whose members come from prestigious universities, medical groups, the military and government agencies. They include the Department of Homeland Security, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the Department of Health and Human Services." The results were a set of proposed guidelines in which doctors and medical personnel make "God-like" decisions regarding which patients are treated in case of a wide spread health care disaster. The report states:

To prepare, hospitals should designate a triage team with the Godlike task of deciding who will and who won't get lifesaving care, the task force wrote. Those out of luck are the people at high risk of death and a slim chance of long-term survival. But the recommendations get much more specific, and include:

• People older than 85.

• Those with severe trauma, which could include critical injuries from car crashes and shootings.

• Severely burned patients older than 60.

• Those with severe mental impairment, which could include advanced Alzheimer's disease.

• Those with a severe chronic disease, such as advanced heart failure, lung disease or poorly controlled diabetes.

I'm going to go out on a limb and suggest that there were no Roman Catholics at those meetings. An article on End-of-Life-Ethics states:

The Scriptures provide a sound foundation and a sure direction in helping us to respond to end-of-life questions by offering three major points: 1) life is a basic, but not absolute, good; 2) we are to be stewards of life, but we don’t have complete control and 3) we understand death in the context of belief in new life.

The National Catholic Bioethics Center has a publication "A Catholic Guide to End-of-Life Decisions An Explanation of Church Teaching on Advance Directives, Euthanasia, and Physician Assisted Suicide" available for purchase. And Eternal Word Television Network has an article on End-of-Life Decisions which states:

The natural law and the Fifth Commandment requires that all ordinary means be used to preserve life, such as food, water, exercise, and medical care. Since the middle ages, however, Catholic theologians have recognized that human beings are not morally obligated to undergo every possible medical treatment to save their lives. Treatments that are unduly burdensome or sorrowful, such as amputation, or beyond the economic means of the person, or which only prolong the suffering of a dying person, are morally extraordinary, meaning they are not obligatory.

Whether you are Roman Catholic or not, you might want to read their point of view before writing your own living will. Just Google "living will form" for information on free forms.

I was being charged with the crime of "committing journalism." One of my captors, Detective Inspector Dani Rangwani, described the offense to me as something despicable, almost hissing the words: "You've been gathering, processing and disseminating the news."

I have some very sad news for all of you, and I think sad news for all of our fellow citizens, and people who love peace all over the world, and that is that Martin Luther King was shot and was killed tonight in Memphis, Tennessee.

Martin Luther King dedicated his life to love and to justice between fellow human beings. He died in the cause of that effort. In this difficult day, in this difficult time for the United States, it's perhaps well to ask what kind of a nation we are and what direction we want to move in.

For those of you who are black - considering the evidence evidently is that there were white people who were responsible - you can be filled with bitterness, and with hatred, and a desire for revenge.

We can move in that direction as a country, in greater polarization - black people amongst blacks, and white amongst whites, filled with hatred toward one another. Or we can make an effort, as Martin Luther King did, to understand and to comprehend, and replace that violence, that stain of bloodshed that has spread across our land, with an effort to understand, compassion and love.

For those of you who are black and are tempted to be filled with hatred and mistrust of the injustice of such an act, against all white people, I would only say that I can also feel in my own heart the same kind of feeling. I had a member of my family killed, but he was killed by a white man.

But we have to make an effort in the United States, we have to make an effort to understand, to get beyond these rather difficult times.

My favorite poet was Aeschylus. He once wrote: "Even in our sleep, pain which cannot forget falls drop by drop upon the heart, until, in our own despair, against our will, comes wisdom through the awful grace of God."

What we need in the United States is not division; what we need in the United States is not hatred; what we need in the United States is not violence and lawlessness, but is love and wisdom, and compassion toward one another, and a feeling of justice toward those who still suffer within our country, whether they be white or whether they be black.

So I ask you tonight to return home, to say a prayer for the family of Martin Luther King, yeah that's true, but more importantly to say a prayer for our own country, which all of us love - a prayer for understanding and that compassion of which I spoke. We can do well in this country. We will have difficult times. We've had difficult times in the past. And we will have difficult times in the future. It is not the end of violence; it is not the end of lawlessness; and it's not the end of disorder.

But the vast majority of white people and the vast majority of black people in this country want to live together, want to improve the quality of our life, and want justice for all human beings that abide in our land.

Let us dedicate ourselves to what the Greeks wrote so many years ago: to tame the savageness of man and make gentle the life of this world.

Let us dedicate ourselves to that, and say a prayer for our country and for our people.

Al Gore, eat your heart out, You Are WRONG!

Sunspot activity has not resumed up after hitting an 11-year low in March last year, raising fears that — far from warming — the globe is about to return to an Ice Age, says an Australian-American scientist.

Physicist Phil Chapman, the first native-born Australian to become an astronaut with NASA . . . said the world cooled quickly between January last year and January this year, by about 0.7 degrees Centigrade.

"This is the fastest temperature change in the instrumental record, and it puts us back to where we were in 1930," Chapman wrote in The Australian Wednesday. "If the temperature does not soon recover, we will have to conclude that global warming is over."

All those urging action to curb global warming need to take off the blinkers and give some thought to what we should do if we are facing global cooling instead.

It will be difficult for people to face the truth when their reputations, careers, government grants or hopes for social change depend on global warming, but the fate of civilisation may be at stake.

INDIANAPOLIS, Indiana (AP) -- A bank teller pregnant with twins was shot in the stomach during a robbery Tuesday morning.

The gunman came into the Huntington Bank branch about 9:30 a.m., jumped over the counter screaming and shot the teller in the lower abdomen.

The Blessed Mother knows babies. Pray for her intercession for these twins.

INDIANAPOLIS — A pregnant teller and the twins she is carrying survived after a masked robber vaulted a counter, shot her at close range and grabbed cash from her drawer at a bank near a state police post Tuesday.

Birds, Something to Think About

I bought a bird feeder.

I hung
it on my back porch and filled
it with seed.

What a beauty of
a bird feeder it is, as I filled it
lovingly with seed.

Within a
week we had hundreds of birds
taking advantage of the
continuous flow of free and
easily accessible food.

But then the birds started
building nests in the boards
of the patio, above the table,
and next to the barbecue.

Then came the poop.

It was
everywhere: on the patio tile,
the chairs, the table ...
everywhere!

Then some of the birds
turned mean.

They would
dive bomb me and try to
peck me even though I had
fed them out of my own
pocket.

And others birds were
boisterous and loud.

They
sat on the feeder and
squawked and screamed at
all hours of the day and night
and demanded that I fill it
when it got low on food.

After a while, I couldn't even
sit on my own back porch
anymore.

So I took down the
bird feeder and in three days
the birds were gone.

I cleaned
up their mess and took down
the many nests they had built
all over the patio.

Soon, the back yard was like
it used to be... quiet, serene
and no one demanding their
rights to a free meal.

Now let's see.

Our government gives out
free food, subsidized housing,
free medical care, and free
education and allows anyone
born here to be an automatic
citizen.

Then the illegals came by the
tens of thousands.

Suddenly
our taxes went up to pay for
free services; small apartments
are housing 5 families; you
have to wait 6 hours to be seen
by an emergency room doctor;
your child's 2nd grade class is
behind other schools because
over half the class doesn't speak
English.

Corn Flakes now come in a
bilingual box; I have to
"press one" to hear my bank
talk to me in English, and
people waving flags other
than "Old Glory" are
squawking and screaming
in the streets, demanding
more rights and free liberties.

Just my opinion, but maybe
it's time for the government
to take down the bird feeder.
