I KNOW Sarah Palin, and so does my wife. Neither of us ever actually met the governor of Alaska , but we grew up with her - in the small-town America despised by the leftwing elite.


One gal-pal classmate of my wife's has even traveled from New York 's Finger Lakes to Alaska to hunt moose with her husband. (Got one, too.) And no, Ms. Streisand, she isn't a redneck missing half her teeth - she's a lawyer.




The sneering elites and their mediacrat fellow travelers just don't get it: How on earth could anyone vote for someone who didn't attend an Ivy League school? And having more than 1.7 children marks any woman as a rube. (If Palin had any taste, her teenage daughter would've had a quiet abortion in a discreet facility.
)

And what kind of retro-Barbie would stay happily married to her high-school sweetheart? Ugh. She even kills animals and eats them. (The meat and fish served in the upscale bistros patronized by Obama supporters appears by magic - it didn't really come from living things. . .
)
Palin has that hick accent, too. And that busy-mom beehive 'do. Double ugh! Bet she hasn't even read Ian McEwan's latest novel and can't explain Frank Gehry's vision for a new architecture. She and her blue-collar (triple ugh!) husband don't even own a McMansion, let alone an inherited family compound on the Cape .


And she wants to be vice president?

The opinion-maker elites see Sarah Palin clearly every time they look up from another sneering article in The New Yorker: She's a country-bumpkin chumpette from a hick state with low latte availability. She's not one of them and never will be. That's the real disqualifier in this race.




Now let me tell you what those postmodern bigots with their multiple vacation homes and their disappointing trust-fund kids don't see:

Sarah Palin's one of us. She actually represents the American people.


When The New York Times, CNN, the NBC basket of basket cases and all the barking blog dogs insult Palin, they're insulting us. When they smear her, they're smearing every American who actually works for a living, who doesn't expect a handout, who doesn't have a full-time accountant to parse the family taxes, who believes in the Pledge of Allegiance and who thinks a church is more than just a tedious stop on daughter Emily's 100K wedding day.


Go ahead, faux feminists and Hollywood deep thinkers: Snicker at Sarah America's degree from the University of Idaho, but remember that most Americans didn't attend Harvard or Princeton as a legacy after daddy donated enough to buy his kid's way in.


Go ahead, campaign strategists: Mock Americans who go to church and actually pray. But you might want to run the Census numbers first.

And go right ahead: Dismiss all of us who remember how, on the first day of deer season, our high school classrooms were half empty (not a problem at Andover or Exeter ).


That rube accent of Palin's? It's a howler. But she sounds a lot more like the rest of us than a Harvard man or a Smithie ever will.

Why does Sarah Palin energize all of us who don't belong to the gilded leftwing circle? Because she's us. We sat beside her in class. We hung out after school (might've even shared a backseat combat zone on prom night). And now she lives next door, raising her kids.




For the first time since Ronald Reagan, our last great president, we, the people, see a chance that one of us might have a voice in governing our country.


Speaking of Reagan ( Eureka College , Illinois ), every chief executive we've had since the Gipper snapped his final salute as president has had the imprimatur of an Ivy League university.
And we've gone from bad to worse:

* George Herbert Walker Bush: Yale.

* William Jefferson Clinton: Georgetown , Oxford , Yale Law.

* George W. Bush: Yale and Harvard Business School .


The first lacked the sense to finish the job in Desert Storm; the second lacked the guts to go after al Qaeda when it was just a startup - and the third, well, let's just say he disappointed our low expectations.

Now we have the Ivy League elite's "he's not only like us but he's a minority and we're so wonderful to support him" candidate, Sen. Barack Obama ( Columbia and Harvard Law).


Our country can't afford another one of these clowns. Harvard isn't the answer - Harvard's the problem.


So here's the message Palin is sending on behalf of the rest of us (the down-market masses Dems love at election time and ignore once the voting's done): The rule of the snobs is over. It's time to give one of us a chance to lead.


Sen. John McCain's one of us, too. He raised hell at Annapolis (quadruple ugh: military!), and he'll raise the right kind of hell in Washington . McCain's so dumb he really loves his country. Sarah Palin's dumb that way, too.

Bring the Revolution home; kill your parents

The key to Saul Alinsky's success: To persuade hundreds of thousands of ignorant young people that it is much more moral to be immoral. Or, as Bill Ayers famously said, "Bring the Revolution home; kill your parents."

A lot of the Boomer Left is marked by psychopathic behavior, in politics and in the rest of life.

Alinsky's disciples -- including Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama -- have a warlike political style. They learned politics as war from the Master. Obama is so well-trained in Alinsky tactics that he used to teach workshops on it. That is why Obama can knowingly violate Federal law against usurping the presidential power to negotiate with Iraq before ever getting elected. Actual election to head of state by the voters means nothing, just as it means nothing to Nancy Pelosi and Steny Hoyer, who have negotiated with Syria and the Muslim Brotherhood in clear violation of law while serving in Congress.

Teaching hatred for the normal majority is the key to power for radicals. But Alinsky taught that you can't easily hate millions of people. To do that effectively you need a one-person scapegoat to focus all your hatred on. "Pick the target, freeze it, personalize it, and polarize it." That is the politics of personal destruction, and it doesn't matter if the target is black like Clarence Thomas, or a woman like Sarah Palin, or a severely wounded war veteran like John McCain.

Normal, decent America is the enemy for these people.

Obama and Hillary are lifelong followers of Alinsky. They use his tactics and ideology. That is why American politics became the politics of personal destruction when the Boomer Left came to power.

To say that we in the West are engaged in a clash of civilizations with the fundamentalist Islamic culture would be a fair statement. In a document titled: "Words that Work and Words that Don't: A Guide for Counterterrorism Communication” released in March 2008, Federal agencies including the State Department, the Department of Homeland Security and the National Counter Terrorism Center will now be issued instructions on how not to describe "jihadists”, or the "mujahedeen", or to use any references relating to Islam, Islamic theology or Muslims in the context of our current war. Nor are these the only words to be struck from the government’s political lexicon. Words and phrases like “al Qaeda movement”, “Salafi”, “Wahhabist”, “Sufi”, “ummah” (the Muslim world), “Islamic terrorist”, “Islamist”, “holy warrior” and even “caliphate” are also to be removed from diplomatic discourse.

And ends by stating this fact:

An Administration that continues to transfer hundreds of millions of dollars to the Palestinian Authority and billions of petro-dollars to our enemies should be more concerned with legitimizing jihadists by funding them than they are about nomenclature.

In an article on Terrorism, Basic Projects writes:

Many counterterrorism experts, including former CIA Director James Woolsey and founding member of the CIA’s Counterterrorism Center, Dr. Bruce Tefft, agree, it is not a question of “if” there will be another attack on American soil, it is a question of “when.” The only questions left unanswered about this future attack are how lethal it will be, where it will take place and whether we will have had enough foresight to have acquired the information needed to literally help save our own lives.

The issue of terrorism is a deadly serious one. It directly affects every American – as well as every freedom loving citizen of the world, yet accurate, fact-based, first-source information on the threat of terrorism is not readily accessible. Adequate information about the threat we face is not forthcoming from our government nor are we served by an agenda-driven media. Websites that offer accurate information on the threat of terrorism are routinely removed from private sector Internet search engine indexes for mentioning radical Islam’s use of terrorism in jihad, while those who do attempt to educate the public on the origins and activities of terror groups in the United States are either ignored by the mainstream media or smeared by biased special interest groups.

Contact your Congressional Representatives in the Senate and the House. Contact Senator John Sydney McCain, Senator Ronald Ernest Paul, Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton, and Senator Barack Hussein Obama. Do not allow Islam in any of its faces to create its Twelfth Caliphate in the USofA. This is no joke and it's not funny. The borders must be closed to unlawful entry by anyone from any nation. Immigrants must undergo a physical and a background check. Remember what occurred on 09/11/01. It would not have happened if we still used Ellis Island for all immigrant entry into the USofA.

Innundated with Politics and Burned Out

Earlier in a post, I think, maybe I just spoke to friends, but I recall saying that the nomination process was too long. What it's done has totally burned me out.

I'm tired of reading about all of Barack Hussein Obama Junior's "fairy tales" about his life. I'm tired of the empty words and lack of substance in what he says. I'm tired of his condescending manners when speaking of us "white folk" as if we weren't listening, reading or watching him speak. I'm tired of his detached attitude. He is definitely Saul Alinsky's and Jeremiah Wright's and his anthropologist mother's and Arab Muslim father's and step-father's child.

HRClinton Takes Umbrage (as well she should)

Hillary Clinton took no quarter Tuesday in responding to a reported claim by Barack Obama that he has more foreign policy experience than either Clinton or Republican nominee-in-waiting John McCain.

“I think a lot of people assume that might be some sort of military thing to make me look more commander in chief-like. Ironically, this is an area — foreign policy is the area where I am probably most confident that I know more and understand the world better than Senator Clinton or Senator McCain,” Obama reportedly said.

Senator Clinton also stated that Senator Obama

"failed to have a single policy hearing on the only responsibility he was given, chairing the European and NATO subcommittee on the Foreign Relations Committee."

She also stated that

"he himself admitted he was too busy running for president to pay attention to what we needed to do to improve our chances in Afghanistan and get NATO more involved."

What Barack H Obama meant was that as a young child he lived in Indonesia (where he was registered for school as Barry Soetoro, Indonesian, Muslim) and that he is a member of the Luo (Obama's ancestral) Tribe (all Muslims) in Kenya. That makes him an "expert?" But what he's an expert of is not what he's going to admit to.

I personally find it quite xenophobic and pompous that the man who claims not to be racist uses terms that emphasize his own importunate bigotry. I surmise that he was sitting in a pew at TUCC when Jeremiah Wright was preaching his sectarian obnoxious diatribes which the benighted in the pews considered merely "part of their black heritage of animus malevolence toward "white folks" or "those white people" for keeping "black folks" encumbered in a slavery mentality since the War of Northern Aggression." Oh, wait a second . . . it's those "black folk" who keep themselves trapped in their own prejudice against those "white folk" and so refuse to take full advantage of the "American Dream." The opportunities abound for anyone willing to apply himself or herself to discipline and work ethics. Too many "black folk" self-appointed representatives have used the "race-card" and the "the-system-owes-you-card" just to keep their "voting base" in a type of "black-on-black-slavery." And sadly, even educated "black folk" (and others) believe these people's purely self-aggrandizing vicious, vengeful venom.

This preacher talks of "Negro men" but does he understand that Barack Hussein Obama, Jr. does not have enough Negro blood to call himself a Negro-African? Welcome to my new layout. Got tired of the old. Hope you like it. There is so much malarkey going around about Barack(a) Hussein Obama not being Muslim and not being Arab that I am nearly to the point of just telling people to go ahead and vote for him to be POTUS, because then it will be too late to denigrate me for trying to inform you of the truth. What is wrong with people? They are mesmerized by his voice. He's the Pied Piper of Democrat Candidates. He has that fluid melodious voice which easily pulls on the auditory senses and causes a person to lapse into an hypnotic state, nodding yes all the while they are being lead to the demise of the American dream.

Obama doesn't think there were any Al Qaeda in Iraq until AFTER the USofA started the war on terror. Do you REALLY agree with that? Do you think that if the USofA just pulled our troops out of the Middle East that all would be well and peace would reign on the earth? Well, Barack Obama does.

What is in your kool-ade? Are you wearing your aluminum foil cap today?

The truth is that the Presidential Candidates running for the office of POTUS are definitely lacking. Both Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama are prodigies of Saul Alinski, Marxism, Socialism and Communism. Hillary Clinton is more open about it telling the public that when she's POTUS, she'll take money from the rich (whoever they are and you can bet she won't consider herself in that category) and "redistribute it to the poor." Stop and THINK. That's communism. You work hard all week to bring home $500 net income and Hillary Clinton is going to take an extra $75 out of that, add it to other hard working individuals' "mandatory contributions" and then dole it out to people who don't want to work hard all week so that they too can live the American dream . . . on your dollar. That's what both Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama have in mind for you. Think I'm lying . . . check it out. They want a bigger Federal Government which means more and higher taxes and you, my friend, will be paying those taxes because you are employed. And where will your hard earned money go? Into some indolent person's pocket long enough for him to buy cigarettes, beer, and a girly magazine.

I worked as a Social Worker and a Caseworker for a total of 26 plus years, and I know what I'm talking about. But go ahead and doubt me if it makes you feel any better.

John McCain has been a "maverick" Republican Senator. He's worked with Teddy Kennedy and other very liberal Democrats to pass legislation. Oh, yes, The Bipartisan Campaign Reform Act of 2002, aka the McCain-Feingold Act. Read up on it. Google it. And guess what? This bit of legislation has come back to bite Senator McCain in the tush. Why? Recall that he ran out of money earlier in the campaign. Well, this Act ended up being a negative force in his efforts to raise additional funds to run for POTUS. Really Smart Move, Senator McCain. Maybe next time you should think these things through and not be such a "maverick" and rush to close the solicitation-for-funds-gap and cause yourself to be a victim of your own legislation. And you know it didn't hurt Hillary Clinton or Barack Obama one twit, er bit.

Mike Huckabee is a joke. That's harsh, he's more like a clown. Why is he staying in the race? My best guess is that he wants the name recognition so that he can run for Senate (or maybe Governor again) from Arkansas. These guys start pulling in the money and the perks from Government employment and they just can't get back into the Private Sector. Think of all the benefits they'd lose if they actually had to get their hands dirty and work a real job. Oh, yes, he's a Baptist minister, how can I disparage a man of God? Let me ask you . . . what man of God do you know who will pardon felons of their crimes and set them back into the community? Pardoning criminals was Governor Huckabee's hobby. Ten times more pardons and commutations than Bill Clinton. A total of 669. I guess when he got to 666, he thought he'd better add a few more so people wouldn't make an obvious assumption. Just because a man says he's a Baptist minister and can modulate his voice from a pulpit does not mean that he is a committed Christian or that he even knows God. (Baptists would say "is saved.") Am I judging him? Nope, just inspecting his fruit.

All of those candidates have skeletons in their closets. However, there is one more 'hero' who hasn't been mentioned openly who could easily be placed in contention for Democrat nominee for POTUS. "Look, up in the air! It's a plane. It's a bird. It's the savior of the Earth!" Yes, ladies and gentlemen, the man in the cape is none other than the inventor of the Internet and a few other gadgets, our very own Albert Gore! Petitions have been filled in with names and signatures of voters at every place he's spoken and shown his award winning movie, "An Inconvenient Truth." The awards the movie received truly illustrate how low our expectations have sunk. There are factual errors that are refuted by some of the scientists whose quotes he uses in the movie. The movie is rife with scientific errors and omissions.

But none of that matters to a Democrat. A Democrat will believe in a fabricated history written by someone with a Kenyan father who therefore 'must' be an African-American. Oh, news flash, according to the school documents in Jakarta, Indonesia, Barry Soetoro (Obama) is listed as being a citizen of Indonesia. So is he really eligible to be POTUS? Someone needs to do some research. A Democrat will accuse someone of being a 'racist' if that person presents facts to dispute the Democrat's allegations. When in fact, in fact, it is the Democrat who is the racist because he is not honest about his own biases and hasty assent to something he will fail or refuse to examine under the light of evidence and documentation.

It does matter to me. Michelle Obama may state she is only proud of America because her husband is running for POTUS and people are supporting him in his bid for the Office. Well, that's just not good enough for me. I've always been proud to be a US Citizen with all the rights, responsibilities and privileges it brings. And one of those responsibilities is to stand up and question a person's honesty when the truth does not parallel his written statements.

And I've done so in the local newspaper, here, online in various forums, and verbally to anyone who'll stop and listen. The FACTS are here, online, documented, verified.

But if you decide to close your eyes and cover your ears, don't say I didn't warn you.
