In an unprecedented open letter signed by 138 leading scholars from every sect of Islam, the Muslims plead with Christian leaders "to come together with us on the common essentials of our two religions" and spell out the similarities between passages of the Bible and the Koran.
The scholars state: "As Muslims, we say to Christians that we are not against them and that Islam is not against them - so long as they do not wage war against Muslims on account of their religion, oppress them and drive them out of their homes."
Since Muslims claim that any war against anyone who happens to be a Muslim is a war against their religion, this is a no-win situation for Christians.
The letter continues: "With the terrible weaponry of the modern world; with Muslims and Christians intertwined everywhere as never before, no side can unilaterally win a conflict between more than half of the world's inhabitants. Thus our common future is at stake. The very survival of the world itself is perhaps at stake."
I perceive that the Muslims realize they cannot win against the "infidel" United States and so they are going to try to wheedle their way into the good graces of other faiths in order to show them how much more "advanced" Muslims are.
As If? An Eighth Century vindictive philosophy parading as a "world religion" in the 21st Century world? And I assumed Muslims didn't have a sense of humor. I was wrong, they are hilarious.
I shall write (again) to all 100 Senators and suggest to them that USofA religious leaders should not enter into ANY "religious" discussions with ANY Muslims or Muslim Theocracy unless and until the Muslims agree to support Freedom of Religion in respect to their religion and Theocracy, giving any Muslim the opportunity to freely convert to any other faith-walk or no faith-walk without fear. Only then can we be hopeful that they are not being completely deceptive.
I'll believe it when the Jihadists lay down their weapons and allow women to cast off their burkhas and headscarves, obtain an education freely, walk alone without fear of retribution, drive their own cars, and not be "married off" as young children.
As If.
