Democrat Ethics Re: Harry Reid
From the 12 December 2002 issue of the Chicago Defender Illinois Senator Barack Obama [D-13th], who hosted WVON’s Cliff Kelley Show, challenged the Republican Party to repudiate Lott’s remarks and to all for his resignation as Senate leader. {Obama] said: “The Republican Party itself has to drive out Trent Lott. If they have to stand for something, they have to stand up and say: this is not the person we want representing our Party.
The DEMOCRATS set the rules for the current Harry Reid situation in 2002. The Democrat Party itself has to drive out Harry Reid. If they have to stand for something, they have to stand up and say: this is not the person we want representing our Party. Democrats, these are your rules. Live up to them or you are no better than any other HYPOCRITE in Congress.
So, Mr Obama, are you going to be a hypocrite or not? YOU set the rules in 2002, so YOU have to live by the same rules in 2010! They're YOUR rules, not the Republicans. This is one rule you cannot lay at the feet of President Bush. This is YOUR rule.
YOU must demand that Harry Reid step down as Democrat Senate Leader. Either you live by the same rules as you made the Republicans live by in 2002, or you are NOT a leader.
If you do not demand that Harry Reid step down, you are not the real President of the USofA.
If you are so afraid of Harry Reid's power, then your Oval Office has no power.
If Congress' power causes you to cower, then you may as well give up the White House to someone who is not such a pantywaist.
