1- Decide what you want in a camera.
2- Read the reviews and compare sample photos at Steve's Digicams.
3- Purchase new camera from manufacturer's website. In this case, Sony.

I chose to order from the manufacturer because the price was comparable and shipping was free. And if there was a question, I have their phone number on my cell phone.
