But I forgot, they call themselves "Anarchists" and so they are.
Anarchist: a person who seeks to overturn by violence all constituted forms and institutions of society and government, with no purpose of establishing any other system of order in the place of that destroyed.*{Source listed below}
Here's a short description of Anarchist behavior over the weekend:
Anti-war protesters were allowed to spray paint on part of the west front steps of the United States Capitol building after police were ordered to break their security line by their leadership, two sources told The Hill.
Approximately 300 protesters were allowed to take the steps and began to spray paint "anarchist symbols" and phrase such as "Our capitol building" and "you can’t stop us" around the area, the source said.
The Anarchists use First Amendment Rights to get close enough to the Capitol Building to have done more damage than "just" graffiti. Why were they allowed to get that close to the Capitol Building? Why were the police told not to stop them? Where was security?
Do we have to wait until some "anti" group destroys a Federal Government Building before we do something to protect the remainder?
I want answers and I will be writing my Congressmen in an attempt to get an answer to this breach of security.
Now is no time for apathy. Apathy is a destroyer our democracy.
The Capitol employs Safety Ambassadors who remove graffiti. They were undoubtedly busy after the "Anti-War Protest" this past weekend.
