All of March, April, May, June, July, August and September. And then, retirement.
Hard to believe it's creeping up on me.
I'm excited and scared and happy and stressed and so thankful that I'm old enough to retire and actually collect money for it. I have many plans for my time -- I don't expect to actually move until November or maybe late October. I have plans to hike for a week in October -- probably the Georgia section of the Appalachian Trail -- with a friend who'll be Thru Hiking in 2007, also.
Once I get to Alabama, I'll be volunteering at the Animal Shelter and at the Library (to read to children). I'll join the local kayak and walking clubs. And I'll do some babysitting to supplement my income.
And I'll be preparing for my Thru Hikes.
That's an "s" -- I have great plans, good Lord willing and Jesus say so.
I'm developing a 'retirement grin.' Grin wrinkles are the best kind!
