The DREAM Act is wishful thinking for Illegal Aliens. Just because a person is living on United States soil does not give that person entitlement to any benefits of United States Citizen. The decision not to give Habeas Corpus to Detainees in Guantanamo Bay documents this truth. It is not as if we have no Legal Recourse to enter the United States. We do. Illegal Aliens should return to their Home Country and follow the rules to emigrate to the United States. The American Dream starts with Legal Immigration. To surreptitiously give Illegal Aliens the illusion of legality with the DREAM Act is tantamount to slapping the faces of every Legal Alien who has taken the time to apply for a Green Card and enter the United States legally.

Got a note from the Sacramento Bee. They don't print letters to the editor from people not in their distribution area.
Oh sure, they can make a comment about something NOT in their distribution area but they can't take a short letter to the editor about the same subject?
Kind of narrow minded, in my opinion and is causing me "great pain and emotional trauma."
